Polaris Minerals Corporation is a producer of construction aggregates from quarries in British Columbia. Based in Vancouver, the company was founded in 2000 by Marco Romero, a businessman born in Chile and raised in Montréal. The company collaborates closely with the indigenous peoples who live on the territory where it operates quarries.

Even before undertaking the search for deposits on the ancestral lands of the region’s tribes, Marco Romero made a point of recognizing their rights and working in collaboration with them. He made a commitment to hire locally as much as possible, to provide training for the employees, to contribute to the community financially and to invest in projects to protect the environment.
